So I ended up chowing like 17 of those amazing sea salt chocolate chip cookies that appeared next to the coffee at around 10:30pm – who made those?!?!?!?!? Yummy. Brent and Mackenzie’s wedding was unique and awesome in many ways: storm trees down at the Sculpture garden, unique “public service” items (Brent is a police officer and the rest of the groomsmen all brought items from their professions as well), flash mob choreographed dance, the beautiful decor and ambiance of the Semple Mansion, and the constant hijinks of the groomsmen (those guys have a ton of fun)! The limo ride was super fun, but during the bustling time of Mackenzie’s dress the driver kept inching forward in a weird way which caused us all to be off balance. NOt sure why I remember that so clearly… 🙂
This wedding was a ton of fun with smiles all around, all day from friends and family all just having a great time. And nice job hopping up by the columns you guys and Kenzie – those were so sweet images! I’m sure we’ll see a few of you wedding party folks at future weddings, just make sure you have the sea salt chocolate chip cookies. :):) -Judd and Josh

Ryan and Christina’s wedding was a flurry of fun and rain – we loved having two hours on the 30 person party bus for pictures! (Total Luxury does a great job with their limos FYI). We had to switch gears right after the ceremony because the heavens opened right after we all piled in the limo but we found two great indoor-ish locations to capture some great images! Ryan and Christina you guys were so great for practicing your “dip” and just being up for whatever!
They black & white bridesmaids dresses were super classy – loved them! The Summit Ave. Clubhouse was decorated beautifully by Christina’s mom, Barb and a few of Christina’s friends (best the staff had ever seen!) and there was even a wedding dress on the front of the head table. There is a crazy picture of my head on Facebook and that is because the waiter dripped beef sauce on my head while server – yikes! I’m really excited about these images below at the Guthrie and in the loading dock area – enjoy them and have an AWESOME time in Paris you guys! -Judd and Josh

Beautiful video. I have already watched it 10 times! Your photos are stunning and this video is so artistic- well done! Christina, you are the most gorgeous bride!!!
Would love to purchase some pictures and/or albums. Will be in touch. My number is 701-590-2889. I’m the mother of the groom.
Hi Rogina,
The ordering link on this blog post is best for loose prints, but Ryan and Christina are having an ordering party at our studio and you’ll get 25% off collections of images which can be shared between several family members and friends. Often parents will bet duplicate albums as well.
Thanks!

Back in the day I was a high school football coach and math teacher and Josh was a STANDOUT strong safety and math student that I had the pleasure to work with. He contacted me a few months ago that he had fallen in love with Alem and they were going to be married at Como Conservatory. I knew it would be fun to see him and and reconnect with the other football guys besides Josh: Justin, Jarred, and James – hey that’s a lot of J’s with Judd and Josh and Jaimie Studio crew too – weird…! 🙂
This was a quaint ceremony and the groomsmen were super agile climbing up on the railing in front of the conservatory. Josh had a picture of himself and Alem inside his coat and his vest matched Alem’s GORGEOUS African dress you see in the images. I absolutely love the images taken on the railing and in the reflection of the fountain. Thanks for having us as part of your day Josh and Alem! -Judd, Josh, and Jaimie

What a fun local wedding! John and Carrie took us back in time with their ceremony at the Aurora Staples Inn in Stillwater overlooking the St. Croix. They both wore historic garb that really completed the turn of the century look and feel. Carrie found her amazing dress at an antique shop, but it was missing some buttons that she had to have shipped last minute! We had some of the best Buttercream peach and strawberry cake and some awesome lemonade made by Luna Rossa which was perfect for a sunny day. We wish you the best John and Carrie, thanks for letting us share in your special day!

This is the first funeral I’ve been to of a dear friend that has been younger than me. It is humbling and truly makes me ponder Amy’s spiritual whereabouts. I was so honored to take some family pictures of the Lyon Family last summer and they are images I will always cherish. Amy endured a year-long battle with Cancer and it makes me wonder how and why Cancer is still a problem in our world – when is the cure coming???? Dave, what a beautiful worship service and eulogy today (you absolutely rocked it) and I’m just glad we could be, and continue to be a part of your life. I hope this slideshow offers for some solace, remembrance, celebration, and healing for your family. As I mentioned with the Philip Phillips tune Dave, I felt a spiritual presence in the choosing of this song — 3 times. Enjoy, my friend, and we shall see you soon. -Judd

Beautiful!!! Inspiration and what great memories!
Beautiful! If I could have half the beauty and joy that she did in her too short life, it would be amazing! My sympathy to her family for their loss.
