Cody + Megan: 02.18.2017 (The Loft at Studio J)

Heat! In February no less! I think everyone got a little hot walking around, and the ice castles were closed for the season! Still we had a ton of fun and Megan’s dad made a super cool backdrop of doors for the ceremony and this was the first wedding in awhile with a selfie stick! 🙂

It was super fun to re-connect with the North High contingent – you all are so grown up and successful!! And did I mention the cutest ring bearer and flower girl ever?? It was super fun to hang with you all for a day! – Judd and Josh

Ice Castles! It was our first time shooting in the Ice Castles, and it was a little chilly but Jen and Tom still slid down the ice slid even! What troopers. JX was beautifully decorated with candlelight and cafe lights, and Tom was strong enough to wrestle the unity candle out of the side holder. 🙂 There were cool groomsmen socks, and this was the first time two groomsmen almost simultaneously received calls from their mothers during the wedding party pictures! And we loved the “family” picture of Tom and Jen with the family dogs – thanks for an awesome winter wedding Tom and Jen! Enjoy the video and images below. – Judd and Josh

Connor + Rachel: 02.11.2017 (the Loft at Studio J)

Exquisite! In a word, that was Connor and Rachel’s wedding – deep teal dress, birdcage, socialite’s fur, and close family and friends. We got to visit the melting ice castles long enough to get both day and evening images in there – they turned out sooo great! And did I mention the amazing wooden bouquet that matched the Loft perfectly??? Thanks Connor and Rachel for allowing us to be part of your special day, and letting us help to pick out your dress, and all your vendors, really!! – Judd and Josh

Cora + Alana: 12.31.2016 (JX Venue, Stillwater)

Great Gatsby! On New Year’s Eve to boot! Cora and Alana are such sweet and eloquent souls… they were one of the first couples to book our JX Venue before construction even started. In their wedding attire, we re-created the picture we posted when they first toured JX leaning back against two windows in the dining room.

This was an incredible day filled with amazing details, decor, and even pinspot lighting on the ostrich feather centerpieces. Cora and Alana had custom champagne chalices and one of my favorite images is the closing image / toast from the Bourbon room. We had a super special mix of liquids in the glasses… 🙂 Check out the first glance images below – lots of anticipation with holding hands on either side of the curtain – so fun!

Thank you Cora and Alana for bringing the fun and energy to JX on New Years Eve – it was so awesome to celebrate with you and enjoy the images and slideshow below! – Judd and Josh

Rice Park never looked so good – even at 7 degrees! We didn’t have much time to enjoy it with below zero windchill but Kellie and Hank still lost their winter coats for the ending spin shots! For a quaint and intimate ceremony in the winter, Como Conservatory is a brilliant oasis of humidity, flowers, and trees that can’t be beat. It was so fun to capture your quaint and intimate ceremony, Kellie and Hank. Thank you for letting us be a part of it – especially the bacon wrapped scallops! 🙂 – Judd and Josh

Mike and Amy are the rare couple that we didn’t need to pose much at all – they were doing naturally what looks really great: lifting, kissing at the right time, not kissing at the right time, drinking the champagne of beers (haha)! That’s why their rings were perched on the Miller High Life bottles. 🙂

The was a blur of a day since it was a Friday and we started a little later, but the weather was amazing – but not as amazing as Amy’s shoes! And I about had a sugar coma for all the delectable treats; see the image of the chocolate bacon mini cupcake below. 🙂

Thanks Mike and Amy for an awesome whirlwind of a day! – Judd and Josh

This was an amazing day with an amazingly fun group of people! The bridesmaids dresses were to die for, there was gorgeous weather, amazingly vibrant fall colors, awesome creative time in a really awesome school bus (with lots of open drinks…). We spotted a couple locations that we had never shot before like the large rock wall which yielded some great images. Thanks you Mindy and Stoddard for letting us capture your day – enjoy the images! -Judd and Josh
