What an amazing event for downtown Stillwater MN for the World Snow Sculpting Competition! Here are some of my favorite images – it was fun to put on the winter gear and simply shoot with the added sprinkle of snow and backlight for movement and texture – enjoy! – Judd

We had the pleasure of working with C. Thomas Howell (actor, producer, director, storyteller, and musician) who most notably played Ponyboy in the Outsiders film.
What struck me the most about him was his opening story of his concert at JX Venue – I’m paraphrasing but he said that because of the delays of shooting and releasing a movie, he felt that he was always on to the next thing when the audience was on his previous work. Music was different he said; he felt that he was right here, right now with the audience and it was a welcome and very different reward to be with a live audience.
