This is the first funeral I’ve been to of a dear friend that has been younger than me. It is humbling and truly makes me ponder Amy’s spiritual whereabouts. I was so honored to take some family pictures of the Lyon Family last summer and they are images I will always cherish. Amy endured a year-long battle with Cancer and it makes me wonder how and why Cancer is still a problem in our world – when is the cure coming???? Dave, what a beautiful worship service and eulogy today (you absolutely rocked it) and I’m just glad we could be, and continue to be a part of your life. I hope this slideshow offers for some solace, remembrance, celebration, and healing for your family. Beautiful! If I could have half the beauty and joy that she did in her too short life, it would be amazing! My sympathy to her family for their loss.
