Dean and Daphne (Historic Courthouse and Lowell Inn, Stillwater)

Can’t wait to spend some more time with these guys today!  What can I say, it is always fun and amazing to spend time with two people who are so obvious in love.  Both Dean and Daphne have these infectious, contagious smiles that just that clearly inspire people to write music (see video below from Joia Byrnes).  It was great to see the Fairy Tale Fluckies (Daphne’s band) that I had literally heard so much about.  Dean has 7 brothers from all over the country and it was great to see them all together – I swear they were all the same age though which is strange.  Anyway, near the end of the artistic time between the ceremony and reception we dropped off the wedding party and found a little “open road” for some of the most amazing shots we have captured.  Dean and Daphne wanted their marriage to not be a settling down but to be going out on the “open road” together so here are the images and videos:

Judd, Josh, Aron and everyone at Studio J …

We wanted to write to thank you for such beautiful work. We first saw the pix while honeymooning on an island in Lake Nicaragua. At sunset we received your e-mail and watched the slideshow … and then watched it again, over and over (and over).

We are spellbound at the artistry, not quite knowing how to thank you for capturing our wedding day so beautifully. Like no one else could have.

We are home now and continue to watch it, over and over. It is all true, and yet somehow you have captured the truth more beautifully, more soundly, more correctly than we could ever have imagined possible. You brought the moment into broad daylight. No tricks of photography, this. Just careful eyes, quick hands, instinct and artistry, pure and simple. For that we thank you. Over the years, as we remember the day, we’ll recall our good fortune at having chosen you to capture it.
